America's economy accelerated its recovery by creating 917,000 new jobs in the USA during March 2021, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). This follows 468,000 US jobs that were added in February and 233,000 workers who were hired in January.

A combination of factors are expected to drive the surge in US employment during 2021, including pent-up demand to spend by consumers with a lot of cash available, as well as expansion of the vaccination programs across the country, resulting in the re-opening of more business sectors.
