More People Working in Australia Than Before Pandemic

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) reported on March 17, 2021, that full-time employment in Australia rose by 88,700 workers between January and February, lowering the unemployment rate to 5.8 percent. According to an ABS spokesman and Prime Minister Morrison, there were more than 13 million people working in Australia, which is about 4,000 more than March 2020 before the pandemic disrupted the economy. According to Australia's Treasurer, over 80% of these new jobs in Australia were filled by women, with younger workers accounting for over 40% of new Australian jobs. To read more, click here!
