Full-time jobs in Australia soared by 59,000 positions in January 2021, lowering the unemployment rate to 6.4 percent. The economy has now recovered all except 59,000 jobs in Australia that were lost because of the pandemic lockdowns. Employers in Australia have been encouraged to hire workers as consumer confidence climbs and Australians increase spending.
